The exhibition design was developed for Museum van Bommel van Dam in collaboration with Gabriel Lester within his studio PolyLester. The scenography responded to the cosmic focus of the paintings by Eugène Brands, whose work is closely connected to the CoBrA movement and often revolves around stars, space, and the unknown.

The exhibition space is divided into two contrasting parts. Visitors enter through a darkened structured area, move through a central “Big Bang” installation, and then arrive in a bright, open space where the paintings are suspended in the air, creating a sense of disorder and weightlessness. The accompanying booklet was designed as a star map, extending the cosmic narrative.
