Waning City is a visual essay developed through a series of drawings that reflect on the architectural traces of dictatorial power in Minsk. The work looks at places such as Victory Square, Gallery Y, and unfinished or frozen construction sites like the Gazprom building and Minsk Magnet. Together, the drawings and text observe how ideology becomes embedded in urban form, leaving behind spaces marked by stagnation, control, and unresolved transformation.
